From the very first day he was delivered, August has and continues to amaze me. He has all of the qualities you could possibly want in a horse and then some. At a little over a year old, his intelligence is remarkable, he's beautiful, incredibly sound, enjoys human inter-action and very athletic. He definately wants to please and appears to have the personality that is respected by the other horses. As with many colts he seems fearless, however cautious.

I believe all of these traits can only be acheived in a horse that has had careful breeding. Melissa and Sammy Drinkard of Diamond D horses found the right balance in putting Augusts' sire and dam together, as I am certain they have in the rest of their breeding program.
